Bottom line: The 8minuteDating system has been refined over years of
operation and thousands of events to free our Event Organizers from the
administrative details so they can focus their efforts on promoting and
hosting the best events in the speed-dating business!
What you provide:
- Meet with a restaurant or club to set a date and time for your 8minuteDating event.
- Deliver marketing materials to your venue on a weekly basis.
- Promote the events by distributing at least 300 flyers per week in strategic locations, contacting local publications and media, and working with organizations around the community to leverage their lists. We provide the marketing materials and press releases to help you in these efforts.
- Follow up via telephone or e-mail with customers who have any questions. (We continually enhance the FAQ on our website to pre-answer these questions.)
- Arrange for an Assistant to help you host the event.
- Show up at the event on time and ready to host a fun night of 8minuteDating!
How much money will you make?
Compensation is based on the number of people who attend your events.
Typical crowds range between 20 and 50 people. On average EOs make
approximately US$300* dollars per event, but when you fill an event you'll
earn over $850*! We ask EOs to host at least one event per month, but
you're welcome to organize as many as you can fill!
How much does it cost?
Our introductory fee for joining the Event Organizer program is
just $100.00* ($50.00* for college students)—a nominal investment
considering that you should earn between $300* and $900* after just
one event! This fee covers our administrative costs, and ensures that
our EOs are serious about succeeding—and quickly earning this money
back. And don't worry, we won't charge you unless you actually become an EO.
Once you're approved and have posted your first event, we'll send you a
kit that has all the supplies you'll need to run an event
(USA and Canada EOs only).
